New Orleans

We recently went to New Orleans for a long weekend. I'll be honest, the trip was mostly focused around eating, but we also had a fun time dinking around, seeing the various neighborhoods, and listening to some live music. I was pretty lazy about taking my camera around with me, hence all the instagram and toy camera photos.

On the first night we had dinner at the Praline Connection on Frenchman street where I dined on fried chicken and mac and cheese. I loved my food, but I seemed to be the only one at our table. We stayed at The Saint on Canal Street which was a pretty oddball hotel but was a good enough location.

The Bloody Marys down there were soo good. They all had pickled asparagus or green beans in them and were just the right amount spicy. Also Cheap! So cheap. They were always served in plastic cups, I guess in case I just decided to get up and go. Carrying drinks down the street was Mike's favorite part of New Orleans. He's a classy guy, what can I say.
